Information Session: CUNY's Individualized BA/BS Degree
CUNY Baccalaureate for Unique and Interdisciplinary Studies (CUNY BA) is CUNY's individualized, university-wide degree for self-directed, highly motivated students who want to design their own majors working with faculty mentors. Students have earned degrees ranging from "American Revolutionary History" to "Zoological Photography." THERE IS ALMOST NO LIMIT TO THE KINDS OF SUBJECTS YOU CAN PURSUE. Transfer up to 90 credits, take courses at any of the 18 colleges, study part- or full-time, receive personal attention/advising. Take advantage of internships, independent studies, study abroad, online classes, honors courses, graduate courses, credit-by-exam, credit for life experience and credit for U.S. military classes. You must matriculate into a CUNY college; you can apply to CUNY at the same time as applying to this program. Community college students can enroll and can complete their Assoc. degrees on the way to earning this BA or BS. CUNY BA offers its own scholarships.
