Building on the Haitian Children's Cultural Capital: Sustaining Academic Success and Character Development

Graduate Center Urban Education Program, the NYSED
Statewide Language RBE-RN at New York University and the
Haitians Educators League for Progress, Inc., will host a
conference on the education of Haitian children in New York City,
entitled "Building on the Haitian Children's Cultural Capital:
Sustaining Academic Success and Character Development." Dr.
Claudine Michel of the University of California, Santa Barbara will
