We are excited and honored to announce that this year's keynote address will be delivered by Professor Eduardo Vianna (Psychology). The title of Prof. Vianna's talk is ‘Connecting Learning and Development: Turning Resistance into a Transformative Activist Stance’ (11:45-12:45, Tue. Nov. 20, 2018).

10:30-11:30: 'Understanding the Mind-Body Connection: Mindfulness Exercises an Creative Visualization', An Interactive Workshop sponsored by the Women’s Center. Led by Joanna De Leon, Director of the Women’s Center, and Dr. Lisa Silverman, faculty mentor for the Women’s Center.
11:45-12:45: ‘Connecting Learning and Development: Turning Resistance into a Transformative Activist Stance’ Keynote address by Prof. Eduardo Vianna (Psychology)
3:25-4:25: 'What You Make of It: Connecting Childhood Experiences, Classrooms, and Personal Autonomy' A symposium by The Student Experience Research Group (SERG), mentored by Prof. Lara Beaty.
4:35- 5:35: 'Veteran scholars: Veteran Student Integration Issues' A conversation with LaGuardia veteran students, moderated by Ricardo Rosado and Mr. Darryl Griffin (Veteran Advisor).
The program also includes a series of concurrent roundtable sessions and poster presentations by our students (9:15-10:15, 1:00-2:00, 2:15-3:15).
