The Literature and Human Rights Lecture Series presents playwright Clare Coss talking about her play "Emmett, Down in My Heart," about the kidnap, torture, and murder of 14-year-old Emmett Till in the Mississippi Delta, and how his mother's response sparked the modern civil rights movement. Sponsored by the Comparative Literature Department and the Dean of Arts and Humanities.
