Conspiracy of Goodness: How French Protestants Saved Thousands of Jews During WWII
On April 14, 1945 Hanne and Max Liebmann, two Jewish Holocaust survivors from Germany, married in Switzerland. This exhibit at The Harriet & Kenneth Kupferberg Holocaust Center (KHC) explores the amazing and harrowing experiences that brought them to safety, along with several thousand other Jewish and non-Jewish refugees in the villages surrounding the French town on Le Chambon-sur-Lignon.
