MG DanceArts: AMASS
Amass is a collaborative project that invites the audience to follow an array of seemingly unrelated events to find an open and coherent future together. Enjoy food, drink, performance and the value of creating an evening together. Conceived and choreographed by Marielis Garcia, with visual design by Caleb Nussear and live music by Brian Wentworth (composer & drums), Kuan Chen Lu (violin), and Rion Wentworth (bass).
Marielis Garcia was born in NYC and received her BFA in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College. Marielis currently performs with Brian Brooks, Peter Kyle Dance and Helen Simoneau, and teaches dance at Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts and in the New York City public schools.
