Scientific Kaleidoscope Lecture: Convergence of Physics and Biology: GAS LAWS and RESPIRATION
The main idea of the "Scientific Kaleidoscope" project is to introduce LaGuardia students to interdisciplinary topics and to search for new opportunities for in-class research teaming of students from various majors. This lecture involves crosstalks between physics and biology concepts, you will learn about: Gas laws and how they apply to the human respiratory system. Physics students will have a chance to learn about how the physics concepts work in biological systems and biology students will learn a bit more of physics. Audience can expect cool physics and biology demonstrations, hands on activities, and interesting discussions.
