Join the journalism department in celebrating Dollars & Sense’s first year as an interactive magazine. Two distinguished photojournalists and a videographer will present and discuss their work.
Timothy Fadek has worked in more than 25 countries, including war coverage in Iraq, Lebanon, Kosovo, Macedonia, Israel and the Palestinian Territories. Yunghi Kim came to the United States from South Korea at age 10 and has covered conflicts and in-depth issue-driven stories all over the world. She was on the staff of The Boston Globe for seven years.
Travis Fox is an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and journalist, best-known for creating multimedia stories that combine video with interactive elements. He received an Emmy in 2006 for his coverage of Hurricane Katrina, and has since produced work in Darfur, China during the 2008 earthquake and Haiti.
