Supercharge Your Career

Supercharge Your Career in a Tough Market! 4-Session Intensive on Finding a High Potential Job.

How skillful are you in finding a job in your career field? Being promoted within your existing company? Making a transition to a new company? The Management Department’s four-session intensive program is for students, alumni, and others who are looking to promote their talent by mastering the skills needed for finding that new job, being noticed for advancement, or transitioning to a new career.

Review of resumes, practice managing awkward interview questions, and other areas needed for career success are facilitated by Zicklin Instructor Leigh Henderson, a trained executive coach who specializes in developing leaders and helping professionals identify and achieve their goals.

Previous attendees found great value in the program:  Great! After a role-playing exercise, I got instant feedback from the class and instructor on my interviewing skills.  The class gave me the tools that I needed to start my job search.  Sharing and doing exercises pushed me to realize the importance of networking and maintaining relationships. The series of four-sessions will allow each participant to identify their goals, learn effective job search skills through role-plays and interactive exercises, and gain greater confidence to demonstrate a strong workplace presence. PLUS: everyone will take the Strong Interest Inventory to identify possible career paths.

Fee: $120 for 10 class hours plus the Strong Interest Inventory. Hours/Dates: 6:00-8:30 p.m. on Thurs., Jan. 13; Tues., Jan. 18; Thurs., Jan. 20; and Tues., Jan. 25. br>
