The Sixth Annual Burton Kossoff Business Leadership Lecture Series

Mrs. Phyllis l. Kossoff created the Burton Kossoff Business Leadership Lecture Series in August 2003 in memory of her beloved husband and his commitment to his alma mater, Baruch College.

Leon Cooperman is the chairman of Omega Advisors, a $6 billion equity hedge fund that he started in 1991. With annual returns averaging around 16%, his fund is considered to be one of the most bullish on Wall Street. Cooperman founded Omega after working 25 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co.

Each year, the lecture series invites prominent business leaders to share their perspectives on the most pressing issues in business. Members of the Baruch community gain valuable insight into the qualities and strategies of today’s most successful business leaders.
