Black History Month Presents - Craig "Mums" Grant


It will be held on Wednesday, February 22 from 2:00 p.m. -4:00 p.m. in Room S-370. It's part of the Black History Celebration. It was not on the schedule, because he just confirmed his coming yesterday. ‘muMs’ is a New York based poet/writer/actor born and raised in the Bronx, N.Y. He is best known for his role in the HBO prison drama OZ where he portrayed the character ‘Poet’. His performances have led to many roles in T.V. and film. As a spoken word artist, muMs has performed at over 150 colleges and universities in the U.S and on 3 continents. As a writer, his short film MORNING BREATH won honorable mention at the Sundance film festival along with best creative writing at Urban World film festival. His play, Paradox of the Urban Cliché was produced by the famed LAByrinth Theater Company of which he has been a member since 2006.
