CUNY Dance Initiative resident artist Hussein Smko and Khalil Ayed lead a "Dig Yaba" workshop, a movement method focused on discovering who we are and what anger does to our lives if it's not contained.

We do not realize that often we are harming someone else. Why does that happen? How to solve it is what we will be doing together by DIGGING into our past, present and future. We believe that everyone can choreograph! Dig Yaba will help you not just to dive deeper into your own self, but to experience the power of possibilities when a story is told with more attention, care, love, and awareness of the world.
