Critically acclaimed author Megha Majumdar will read from her latest novel, A Guardian and a Thief, as part of the Distinguished Writers Series at Hunter College.

Megha Majumdar graduated from the Hunter  MFA Creative Writing Program in 2011 and now teaches in it. Her book, A Guardian and a Thief, has just been long-listed for the National Book Award and is a finalist for the Kirkus Prize.
