Many in our CSI community are familiar with Korea through K-pop, yet few understand how the Korean entertainment companies that produce K-pop and Korean organizations more broadly function behind the scenes. In this session, Dr. Jong Gyu Park, Associate Professor of Management at the Lucille and Jay Chazanoff School of Business, explores Korean work and organizational culture by connecting the working practices of Korean companies, including major Korean entertainment firms, to broader patterns of leadership and teamwork in Korean workplaces. The talk offers an accessible and engaging look at how culture shapes the way people collaborate and lead in Korea today.
